Welcome to "Mountain View Manor"!
This beautiful log cabin is located in the majestic Ashe County, NC and the Blue Ridge Mountains! We are located approximately 10 minutes to the quaint towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson and less than 5 minutes to the New River State Park. Plus it is a short drive to area attractions such as The Blue Ridge Parkway, Mount Jefferson State Park, New River State Park, Ashe County Civic Center, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing, shopping, dining, Ashe County Cheese Factory, Ashe County Farmer's Market, and so much more!
Mountain View Manor is a 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom log cabin that can accommodate 8-12 guests with great amenities such as a pool table, awesome private movie theater, wireless internet, central AC, wood burning fireplace, beautiful mountain views of Mount Jefferson and Three Top Mountain. We are located in a pristine gated community with all paved roads and easy access year round. Plus the cabin is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with 3 acres for the kids to run, play, and explore.
MAIN FLOOR: The main floor offers an open floor plan with the living room, dining room, and spacious kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, 4 burner gas cook top stove, dishwasher, and a side by side fridge with ice/water dispenser in the door. The living room has a wonderful wood burning fireplace and a 50" flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a recliner, flat screen TV, large walk-in closet and an En Suite bathroom. The master bathroom offers a whirlpool tub, walk-in glass shower, and his/her copper sinks. There is a 1/2 bathroom located in the hall way near the master bedroom. The washer/dryer is also located on the main floor.
UPPER FLOOR: There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds on the upper floor along with a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and double sinks. Plus there is a sleeping loft area with a twin day bed with a twin trundle for additional sleeping. This floor can sleep up to 6 guests.
DOWNSTAIRS: The lower level is considered the entertainment area. The 4th bedroom has a queen size bed with an electric fireplace and the 3rd full bathroom with a stand up shower with massaging jets and an overhead rain shower head. Everyone in your group will enjoy spending a lot of time down here playing a friendly game of pool while listening to our provided stereo/CD player. We can't forget about the best feature of our entertainment area......our private movie theater fully equipped with a large 100" HD screen, HD projector, Direct TV, XBox, Wii, and DVD player. The private theater can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. Plus if you feel the need to exercise while on vacation, we do offer a treadmill as well!
OUTSIDE: You can cook your favorite meal on our gas grill on the back deck which overlooks the views of Mount Jefferson and Three Top Mountain. Everyone can enjoy a friendly game of horseshoes or corn hole (provided) or sit around our firepit. Don't forget about our exhilarating hot tub! Relax and let the soothing jets take your cares away!
At Mountain View Manor, we believe that nobody should be left behind while on vacation. We will allow you to bring your well behaved four-legged family member. There is a onetime nonrefundable pet fee of $50/pet for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds and $75/pet for dogs weighing more than 41 pounds. What makes this a great rental for your pet(s) is that there is a fenced in area in the back yard so they can roam around without fear of them running away. How cool is that?
If you need additonal sleeping, we have 2 other cabins available close by. "A Mountain Escape" is a large 5 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom cabin that can accommodate up to 16 guests and is located across the street. The other cabin is called "Water's Edge Retreat" and it is a 5 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom cabin that can accommodate up to 12 guests. These 3 cabins can accommodate up to 40 guests combined.

3 night minimum for most holidays and the entire month of October
4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
7 night minimum for the July 4th week and Christmas/New Year holidays
As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and/or chains. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refund, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
